that is so AWESOME! that robot is so cool! the colours look really good (nice to a see a colourful robot) and it looks pretty shiny too like a warm, shiny thing...haha

Thanks a bunch. I'm thinking about going through the alphabet with robots. This one is "Alpha Seven" so the next would be something like "Baker Eight-One". The numbered aren't of much relevance, but the first names would be subsequently going down the phonetic alphabet: Alpha, Baker, Charlie, Dawg, Echo, Foxtrot........

I like the way you handled his shininess. My own robots still look quite dull, even when I actually do try to paint/draw them shiny. I'll probably refer back to this for help.

Thanks. Using the dark colors to add deep contrast helps the lighter areas become more dramatic. This gives them more of an illusion of being shiny. Thanks again.

this little guy convinced me that i wanted one of my own now.. (:
the colors here are fantastic, very positive and radiant, something you'd never expect with a robot picture since people always draw them in cold, metallic colors.
