Here we go, here we go! It's my first fight in the glorious return of the the AFLHosted by:
My first opponent for the tournament is newcomer, Ruby!
The challenge for me whenever I'm facing a new character is staying true to their personality despite not having a lot of material to draw from. For this fight, I drew from what I could gleam from her introduction. Ruby has, by her own admission, never participated in a fight before, so I've depicted her here trying to imitate what she imagines real fighters do in tournaments (i.e. trade insults and punch each other a lot).
Fortunately for Ruby, Diago is more than happy to show her the ropes in the world of AFL.

I really like your version of Ruby. Particularly her first attempts at traditonal battle banter. And honestly, she isn't that far off in her theories off what an AFL fighter should be.
Excellent sense of movement here. It's tough to say who will win, but I think this one has a winning chance with it's genuinely witty dialogue.
