Wade the Quagsire is a firefighter who utilizes an armored suit with many facets that allow him to do his job.

His current suit, the QG51R-3 was developed from the earlier QG51R-2 which faced many problems with mobility and weight. The newer updated form has taken many systems and integrated them to double up on the functionality as well as cut the weight on the user who would have to run into burning buildings and rescue others.

Hydrosystem: The upper back contains a centralized unit that condenses and pressurizes moisture from the air into water inside its storage tank. The natural filtration system also removes sediment and other particles but stores them in separate capacity for use of mud-like attacks against electrical fires (mud shot). The main system not only collects moisture, but through the process of electrolysis (running an electrical current through water to divide hydrogen and oxygen) it stores a small amount of hydrogen internally so that the suit can power itself perpetually. The collection of water is done primarily through the vents on the back and down the tail.

Circuit trip: The armor is made beneath its tough exterior, with a series of surge interruptors that are connected all throughout the body. The surge interruptors act to stop electrical flow that hits the armor by splitting it and then redirecting it to another circuit in the suit that carries it to ground. This prevents the suit from taking electrical damage that would otherwise affect its mission capability with electrical fire as a possible cause.

The functions of the suit are as follows:

Waterfall: The mechanics of the tail make it akin to a fire hose when used, but is limited due to the suits low capacity for holding water, making it a secondary function of the suit to be able to fight back fires. The tail is mainly a cylinder that accumulates and pressurizes water before spraying. If need be, the suit is capable of reversing the flow of water and expelling it through the vents in the suit and tail to allow propulsion in the water or repulsion through smaller water pulses.

Recover: As the suit's primary source of energy is hydrogen, by switching to recovery mode, the suit is able to focus on absorbing water from the air and converting it into hydrogen to replenish its energy levels. In water, this ability is increased substantially and allows for quick cool down time.

Haze: Similar to waterfall, the suit is able to discharge water through the vents on it, however the primary difference is that the air intake is left open as to allow air to mist out around it while doing this. This is done to dampen environments where flammable explosives are present to lessen the danger, as well as to prevent fires or weaken them.

Dig: In addition to the overall functionality of the hydrosystem, the QG51R-3 is outfitted with cylindrical arms that possess the power to punch through solid cement, allowing for egress through floors of burning buildings.
