gotta love the low F-number stuff... i wish my camera had a better range for setting that!
really like this one. can't think of anything to suggest. except maybe try the same picture but without the blurriness... not that this will make a good picture, but i'd be interested to learn more about it by trying something like that.

Oh yeah, I'm a little bit addicted to the widest aperture.
Thank you for the comment! I'd like to try something like that to see the contrast. I've done that a few times, taken a shot with a wide aperture, then one with a small aperture to see the difference in focus. It can dramatically change a photograph, that's for sure!

I like the aparature setting you used for this piece.
All the white tags over the brown really draws my attention to this photo.
Nice shot.

Thank you! Ever since I got that lens, I've been a little bit addicted to large aperture shots.
I didn't really notice the tags until after I'd taken a few shots, actually.

I really believe in repitition to creat an almost musical rythme to images

Well, that's a most interesting theory to me, especially since I don't have any musical ability whatsoever. Maybe this is compensation. Thanks for the food for thought.

Nice eye candy. DoF on the line of thirds and an nice angle with a pattern.
Ooooo. Try to get a head on view of that too. Like perpendicular. It'd look rad.

Thanks! You broke it down quite nicely.
I may go back for a perpendicular shot, if they still have them there. That'd make a snazzy desktop....

Awesome as usual. Your shots always keep me amused, thats my favorite thing about getting on DA, I get to see your work. This is a great shot because of how filling it is, seeing all of this wood together.
