I gave Valien a matching reference! I also tweaked his design a bit, I was worried his hair was too similar to Mal's (aka forehead time xwx)
He'll probably be one of those characters whose design I endlessly tweak, ugh... But here he is!

Valien is a the antagonist for the story and Eleanora's estranged great uncle. Though the latter isn't revealed or known to her until much later on, anyone with two functioning braincells could piece that together (aka anyone but Eleanora and Malund)

He is the result of an affair between an Imperial nobleman (her great grandfather) and a young Altmer woman, which caused quite the scandal and rough childhood for him

Valien is an extremely powerful Archmage who specializes in Alteration magic, with Telekinesis being his primary method of offense and defense.
This is unheard of in the story's canon, and his methods are very extreme, typically ragdolling his enemies or going as far as to snap their necks given the chance.
His abilities also include disarming opponents, freezing them in place, and forcibly de-transforming werebeasts.

Personality wise he's pretty unbearable, often coming across as cold and dismissive, or outright smug. Despite this, and how little he smiles, he is quite cheeky and has a very dry sense of humor. He enjoys getting a rile out of others, meaning his attitude is self-aware to a degree.
