Description
Due to the involvement in the role play and story universe of a very good friend I felt inspired to venture into the field of Creature Design, what highly interests me as an artist. Since as a pre-teen I had interest in the anatomy of animals and loved to explore anatomy guides and learn more about the build of the particular animal.ΒFor this creature, which I call the "Crawler Eel" I focused on a swampy habitat with numerous waterways and pictured kind of an evolved amphibian, that is probably the main predator in these swamps. Sorry, that I can't provide more data on this animal for the moment as I have to write up a little description of it.
Seems like, I can not only draw dinosaurs, which are my beloved favorites

I'm so amazed that you came up with this.Β Sorry for not commenting on this here before, I have only been active on DA recently.

Nothing in my body was flexible when I imagined this animal in my backyard

Hehe, they spent some decent time in the waters and that makes them extra slippery.

I can imagine some slithering movements on the ground until the Crawler Eel slips into the waters, where it might move in a more elegant way.

Hehe yeah, probably would move aort of like how people imagine Eastern Dragons move about on land.

Thank you. The weird and the wonderful creatures all find their home.
(They tend to hide in the murky waters or approach their prey from behind.)

Thank you! Creature design is a very interesting field in my eyes, so I might attempt the one or another creature
