Description Some more or less full body Neovenators. The colored one was spontaneously colored in gimp as some sort of speed paint, because I felt a bit inspired by Jonathan Kuo's sketches , so I tried my luck to generate a similar result.

However, I seem to suck at drawing dinosaurs from behind, albeit I would like to pose the final Neovenator in my picture in a similar pose, where the watcher sees the theropod from its rear. Probably, I need to pose one of my Allosaurus models in a similar manner in order to produce a more realistic looking dinosaur.

As always a warm thank you for you all

Wow, these look really amazing IMO. The only one that looks off to me is the rear view on the right: the head seems much too large in that one. But I think the other ones look really great! I love the green, grey and black you've chosen for the colors on its body. I really love it a lot.

The one, which looks strange and somehow deformed was the first Neovenator , that I didn't drew in a lateral pose and was done by pure imagination, which blatantly failed, whereas the second attempt of a rear view is actually derived from my Allosaurus model I had posed to get an idea.

Well, I have a soft spot for eye markings on my dinosaurs, while I took green for the crests, because I hadn't given this color to any of my allosauroids. Β Personally, I love this drawn Neovenator a lot, because it is close to the final one in its appearance.

I do this always when I want to depict a 'new' species, well, 'new' means here a species, that I haven't drawn before. Also, I have a rough idea how Neovenator and Eotyrannus should be placed in a final illustration, so I have to practice it, before I take the effort in painting it fully colored. If I've finished my Eotyrannus drawings, I'll probably soon continue on the final poses.
