Ffffff what to name this picture?Also... This kind of background is starting to become cliched with my pictures
but it was not the background I had in mind when I drew this.. ..mostly because I didn't have a background in mind when I drew this. I just wanted to draw Tomoe in this pose and ended up liking the pencils a lot. The background kinda just happened.Ugh... it's far too late at night for a proper artist's description, but as I can currently only go online after midnight them's the breaks DX
It's Tomoe. I'm rather proud of her pose here... like.... a lot. I find girls hard to draw, not anatomically but more like I have trouble portraying them as girls with body language without making them ultra girly and obvious. Here I think I succeeded. a lot. To me she looks feminine in body language but still looks like some-one you don't want to mess with right now. I have no idea why she's wearing her kimono like that.. ...or where her Under-kimono is.... or why her Kimono is over her Hakama instead of under it..... or where her scabbard is.

just enjoy the picture.
The background was actually just part of the colour-scheme planning, but I ended up liking it so much I used it in the final picture.
I learned how to draw blood gooder than before.
No mature filter because there's a boobie you can't see and there's blood but no-one's bleeding in this picture.

Oooh...quite a dramatic piece, C-Puff. The pouring rain in the background and the dark coloring really sets the stage for an emotional/harrowing duel. The way it spatters off Tomoe's body is a nice touch; the motes of "rain mist" really immerse her--she's not just a figure imposed on a background; the two are intricately bound together to the point where one would be incomplete without the other. Not to mention Tomoe's disheveled appearance and the streaks of blood on her face and sword really reinforce that she's in dire straits. One wonders who she's fighting against, and what she might have been through prior to this scene.
I'm glad to see such a well-drawn tribute to one of those lesser-known-but-awesome comic series, and I salute you!

She looks amazing. And u r right about her body language she does not want to be messed with right now, she looks more focused or mad than angry or in a rage. I guess that is want u wanted It looks great.
This has inspired me to try something slightly similar thankyou- it wont turn out as good though

XD I normally scan my pencil drawings at 400ppi so it depends the size of the picture I drew. Normally I end up with pictures about 3000pxls big although it can get bigger than that.

..Whoa. 8D That's pretty crazy. Most of the time the size of my canvas is usually 1000 or higher/lower. I don't think my computer would be able to handle it. xD

I don't know what it is, but I really love this one. Just simply beautiful, and has a great emotion. Pose and everything came out really nice.
I don't know too much about the Usagi, so forgive me if I sound stupid, but it her hair red highlighted, or is that more blood of an unnamed opponent in her tips?
