This is a really interesting piece, I'd be curious to hear the briefing on this one. Green Ronin must have a different interpretation of the process of becoming a drider than good old TSR, then Wizards.

I don't remember the illo description of this piece. Or many of the dark elf series I did for Green Ronin...and I'm unfamiliar with the background information on driders. I wasn't asked to make any changes when I submitted the pencils for approval.

No problems - I guess I'm just curious as the general drider story is that they fail some rite as a young adult and are transformed as a punishment. Yours appears to have been born as one. Interesting and very well designed.

Hmmm...now you have me wondering what the story is behind the insectoid in the web. I will have to try and dig up the book this appeared in.
