I love the illustrations like this that show how tough it was living in this galaxy during the reign of the Empire. Its great how you can feel the sadness of, I'm guessing, his wife or girlfriend in the background being dragged away before the droid turns around and tries to make a target out of her.

Thanks, Kulibrach! I admit to liking how this piece works. As you mention, the composition is solid...and there is plenty of detail for the eye to play with. What I like best is that the small round droid actually dominates the scene even though it doesn't take up much space in the image.
