No, drugs aren't cool, but there's something so comforting about releasing the worst you think you can be/imagine. I don't know that Absinthe is all bad, as she certianly doesn't seem to be so, but she is the darkest of your anthros. And she's georgeous. So there.

'bad' isn't really the term i would use. misdirected, pathetic, lost, melancholy, perhaps. it's not that she's a user to be cool or to rebel, it's because she honestly sees no alternative to wasting herself away.
if she realized her potential, she could be beautiful.
but yes, there IS a level of comfort in creating a melancholy character, possibly to threaten oneself with, or to compare one's situation.
bah, i can't quite phrase what it is i'm trying to say, and i'm in medication withdrawal, so my hands are too jittery to type well, but let's just leave it at this; you seem to be the closest of all to understanding her
