this... is how i seem to handle lifethings get as bad as they possibly can. then they get worse. life kicks the shit out of me, and i feel completely hopeless, but for some reason i haven't been able to figure out, i've never once fully given up. i've been dragged down and torn up, but i refuse to just accept the killing blow. sometimes it seems like it would just be easier to give up fully, but some inner defiance refuses to accept the game over screen.
i don't know where i learned this, and i couldn't tell you why it hasn't been beaten out of me yet. all i know is it's there and isn't leaving anytime soon

I love all the fine little details in this, the things like cracks in the sidewalk and blades of grass and whatnot. Nice coloring too.
And that fighting spirit is just a part of who you are, and it's a damned good thing, too. :3

I particularly like the boots of the other entity, and for that matter, the angle that cuts off the rest of what ever that entity may be. It reminds me a bit of Lucas' shots in the original Star Wars. And this, by the way, is one reason why I think we all love you so damn much, if I may say so. <3

this is an interesting image. i like the angle, how you cant see life's face. the gutter, cracks and grass in the sidewalk, slightly over grown grass, glasses, black eye, rusted lid type gimmick (shutupits2am), and all really contribute to the feeling of the work. i like this a lot. esp. the bracelets. if i drew me, and wore bracelets, they'd always be purple and blue. and sometimes green.
