You know, I've been meaning to ask this for some time now, but I guess I just never got around to it.
What is the Baron supposed to be? It's obvious Calamity is a kangaroo and Prof. Fenix Von Platypus is well, a Platypus
But I could never gander what the Baron is. If he wore less clothing it would be easier to tell, but he's just an enigma.
Unless he's intentionally ambiguous like the Warner Sibs in Animaniacs, which would make sense considering Animaniacs is a major influence on Calamity Kangaroo and the gang.

I'm pretty sure the Baron's some sort of dog... I never really gave it much thought, honestly. He is a somewhat enigmatic character, so the ambiguity kind of fits.
