Done for *Everyday-Grind-Comic 's too cool for shoes contest !I knew I wanted to so something with Candy and her daughter Beckey! for many reasons, they are always fun to draw together, I need more children in my gallery, I'm reluctant to say goodbye to summer. also I've been getting a lot of questions "OMG Candy you never draw your old OC's anymore! where are they!?"
Relax guys, they aren't going anywhere. I've been drawing most of these fuckers for the better part of a decade, However since I've been drawing them for so wicked long I'm sick of them all the time. so...they've just been on vacation.
A little sun and fun is good for the soul.

I LOVE Beckey; she's such a cute little thing, oh my gosh. <3 I always enjoy seeing her, and she's changed a bit since a long time ago, when I drew her a couple of times; I love that she's been getting older over the years. xD <3 Her pigtails are so cute, oh my gosh. I love seeing Candy around, too! And it's totally cool being able to see her stitches and scars; I don't think I quite realised how many she had! This is a wonderfully cute scene! <3

I LOVE seeing more Beckey, and on top of that, I love that you drew an updated/re-compositioned the original! I love how happy Beckey looks, her swimsuit is VERY Sailor Moon-ish to me :3 And I love how you draw hands and feet! You are really improving so much, and is Candy missing a toe now!? COOL. My only suggestion is to make the sand a little lighter as it clashes with both characters skin. Other than that? I really like it, the bathing suit on Candy looks like it fits a lot better this time around and I love that 'like mother like daughter' they both have different painted toe nails :3

drawing feet is just getting easier for me, so I've been drawing them more?

I love randomly drawing OC's I haven't drawn in a while (especially after I was sick of them for a while before missing them like crazy)
Really liking the bathing suit, and those scars. I so need to get more background info on Candy since I know she must have a interesing history.
And her daughter. SO adoreable! Those eyes just pop, and in such a good way. They're so bright and innocent, and I love the freckles and her hair style! X3
Great job on this Candy, you're definitely keeeping a bit of summer alive for this gal!

I DO Miss my old OC's really...but after drawing them for quite LITERALLY years it's nice to give the spot light to soemone else for a change. Seriously though I do love the characters you've created. Not only that but I know what it's like trying to maintain original characters and OCs for a specific fandom. For as much as you may be loved for one thing its always nice to get recongition for everything you do.
That's why I try not to watch people for only one thing.
I must admit that sometimes when I'm looking at a new pic of your's for MH I wind up clicking on one of the little boxes in the corner that let you see other stuff the artist has done. The only reason why I don't comment on more of them is that some of them are years old and I feel like I'm a little late to the party.
But I've found some great stuff in your gallery, like an awesome picture you drew of my lord and master and his owner X3, and I found out about the fanfic 'My immortal' from a pic you did.
Sorry if this comment is getting too long, but I was just looking at your stuff the pther day! So I'm glad for any chance to tell someone when I really like their stuff.
I'm checking out the link now, and it looks great. (you'll probably be getting a ranty comment on it from me later.)
And I can't wait to see what you have coming up, it's honestly nice seeing someone who doesn't drop summer like a rock as soon as a breeze passes by.

I love seeing Candy with Beckey, for some reason the mother/daughter pictures are always my favorite Candy images. I can't get over how adorable Beckey looks in this.

I cannot stress how much I LOVE Candy's swimsuit. The design, stripes and colours are so effin' 80s. Other than that, this is a cute and endearing moment spent between mother and daughter. I really love the beach scenery, as well as Beckey dumping sand on Candy's leg. xD Their poses are well done, too! Excellent composition and best of luck in the contest.

Your perspective isn't that bad in this picture! Great anatomy (I LOVE how you draw legs) and I still admire how you keep your character's attributes (Candy's nine toes, Becky with her father's features) still in condition. You're doing really good, Candy!

Sounds like a weird contest.
My first reaction was how cute this was. Then I winced a little when I pictured sand getting into Candy's leg wounds, though I imagine those are all long since healed up.
Either it's impossible to read the title of the book Candy is reading or I'm really tired. Maybe both.
