Well he's back once more with a major and much needed upgrade to his design. He's now looks a lot better; exactly what I was trying to go for in the original concept. I lacked the artistic skill to draw him well back then but now he's more or less official and I'm finally happy with his design.
I'm not sure what I plan to do next with his whole story and world I've developed... I started making a computer game with him (two actually) for my game programming class in high school and I've written and recorded a radio drama for another old class assignment, but yeah. Maybe a comic or story or animations... something! I'll figure it out.
Theod is a raptor-like alien species known as Arnoks. He's got two buddies too that I plan to draw later: Stiller, a yellow male, and Xaeon, a blue female. Oddly Theod made me like the color purple again; I used to hate it (pink is still horrible though). Like a raptor, his skin is scaly and he's also warm-blooded. He's an amazing solider, built for more hand-to-hand combat situations... but he sometimes takes it a bit too far. More on all that later ^^ For now, enjoy!

Lies indeed. I do prefer them without feathers as well; they look more menacing when they don't look like they were having a pillow fight x3

Heheh, the raptors have always been my favorite since I was a kid... then they found out they were covered in feathers and my childhood memories were ruined forever. Everything I knew was a lie. A LIE!
SO I decided to create my own raptors in the way they should be! I'm glad you like 'em!

The Land Before Time were my absolute FAVORITE movies as a kid. I still remember all the songs XD
Not enough raptors in them though; the biggest debut they had was in the 3rd movie and I'm pretty sure those were Deinonychus.

i knoww T^T Deinonychus... hmm.. idk but i just remember the red dinos with the awesome huge claws that were small and agile like that ^^

I think I've got 1 through 6... they just kept pumping them out and I couldn't keep up!
Well Deinonychus were still just as awesome so it's all good. XD And there apparently was a TV show too but I never saw it.

Yeah, I definitely want to be drawing more of them. I did do this huge picture on illustration board where there's a group of about ten or so running straight at you, but I donno if I'll ever finish it. And their design changed a little bit since then. *shrug* I'm debating if I should upload it to my scraps or not.

Heheh, yeah I'm going to be redesigning his armor suit too... though clothes and technical mechanical stuff aren't easy so I hope it turns out good. And I'm glad that someone is taking interest in my characters! I appreciate your comments

Well I have a fascination with other peoples' races anyway, but I had my own little story in my head about raptors, so it's really interesting to see yours, too.

Yes, I think original races are totally awesome too. The inspiration for my story was simply the fact that I love raptors and thought it'd be cool if there were raptors... in spaaaace!!! So now I we futuristic space raptors XD
