If any of you are familiar with my previous account , you would know that I'm quite a big fan of Sonic the Hedgehog. As such, I've decided to draw him once more-- but with a twist!

This is one of Sonic's alter-egos from Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comic series, known as "The Sneak." Most may not be familiar with this, however, as he only dons this costume once back in issue 97, way back in 2001. It was also right before the Sonic Adventure 2 tie-in that would be featured in the very next issue, so this plot point was quickly forgotten. Mainly, though, I felt that the interior art in the issue, while not bad, didn't exactly do this disguise justice in the end. So...I decided to interpret it in my style!

I used the new style of lineart I learned from my last picture, and I tried coloring with a mix of Matt Herms' and Patrick "Spaz" Spaziante's style. I took the actual colors from both the interior art (like the gray) and Spaz's cover art (like the yellow cape). I tried to be really faithful to the original designs, and hopefully it shows.

On a side note, what's funny is that a later issue actually reveals Sonic to be embarrassed about having worn this disguise. But honestly, I don't see why! It's actually a really cool costume and they should totally bring it back for when Sonic needs to do some underground missions.
