Guess which game I'm ridiculously hyped for.

Go on, guess.

...Okay, you may not know for certain, since this game hasn't reached the stampeding gaming masses...yet.

For the uninformed, this is Kat, the main character from the upcoming PS Vita game Gravity Rush (or Gravity Daze, if you're in Japan). It's basically a platformer with some combat mixed in, but the twist is that you can defy gravity by floating in midair, and then land on whatever surface you wish-- vertical or otherwise. It's a simple, yet amazing premise and I and many others certainly can't wait to play it. Now to actually start saving money for the PS Vita!

As for the drawing...I know what you're thinking: "This looks nothing like your style!" Indeed, it doesn't. I tried something new this time around: going over the drawing consecutively with the Brush tool at a very high resolution (600 dpi). With this technique I'm FINALLY able to produce those thin, anime-like lines that I've been striving for for months now. After outlining the figure, the coloring and background simply fell into place. Doing this picture has really gotten me excited, though, because it has unlocked a yet another whole new set of possibilities with my art.

Now, with that said, please enjoy while I beg my parents to pre-order me the nearest PS Vita.
