The (Unknown) 'Colesaurus' Class Destroyer is a pre-TOS Gorn design by the Amarillo Design Bureau for "Star Fleet Battles"Note: The 'class name' used is the code name used by the Federation.

Given the other dinosaur nicknames, I'm a bit confused to see that whoever made and/or named this ship gave it a nickname that doesn't belong to any actual dinosaur I could find, or any organism for that matter.

No clue. Unless they were being cute, and assuming that new dinos would be found. Remember the sourcebooks I'me using came out in the late 70s/early 80s.
