The design seems reasonable, and immune to my primary complaint about designs mating the Miranda class' saucer to the Constitution class' engineering section, i.e., the fact the resulting design looks unbalanced and out-of-proportion.

Well, the chopped Miranda hull is known as a Knox hull. I think if it had been a full Miranda, it would have looked off, where as the Knox is closer to a standard Connie.

With all the phasers and photon torpedo launchers, reminds me of a scaled down USS Vengeance.
