All Rights Reserved.Following on from my previous image and waiting for the aurora that was not to be. On top of Mt Pilot after rain there are a few fresh water pools in depressions in the solid granite. With the Milky Way overhead and the Zodiacal light streaming up from the horizon I couldn't resist jumping in front of the camera.

What about it?Β Are you complaining that it is too low?Β I upload my images to the internet at a small size for two reasons:Β 1.Β As much as I would like to trust humanity and upload my full res images for all to see and use, that in reality, is just inviting my hard work to be stolen with no compensation to me for putting in the long hours at night to take all these images.Β If people truly want my images large, then they can purchase a print from me.Β and 2.Β Images on the net are best viewed when you can appreciate the image as a whole.Β I hate viewing an image where I have to scroll around to view it all.Β Not everyone has large monitors or screens.Β I try to cater to my whole audience.Β By scrolling around you lose the feel of an image as a whole.Β It's a bit like going to an art gallery and walking around and looking at the art works with your face a few inches from the wall.Β Totally defeats the purpose....
