Description
EDITChanged the preview file into the tutorial file, since people kept asking if I deleted my tutorial (which I didn't, you could get it by hitting the "Download" button on the right).
So to stop the confusion, here is the tutorial without the preview.
How to draw male eyes that is!
Since there are many differences between to male eye and the female eye, I chose to create a tutorial about the male eye only. I will do the female eye someday as well.
I'm sorry if the image is small and blurry, but I don't want people to steal this. I will publish a book sometime and I will use this tutorial as well (which is a lot bigger and clearer), so yeah... sorry once again!
If anyone still have questions, please ask!

ah, I have the perfect sollution for you!
Take a mirror, and hold it next to your drawing. You probably will see one eye's bigger than the other. That way you know exactly how and what to change always works for me, good luck!

this is excellent, I really needed this a long time ago though
I should probably start drawing useful stuff again, no actual "updates" for 4 years! heh.
Thus inspired, I shall go draw in the corner and see what I come up with.
Thanks!

I can draw pretty decent portraits, but not of anyone, if you know what I mean. What I draw is often clearly recognisable as what it is but I have trouble personalising the drawing to look like the subject. Do you maybe have some tips for this?

bruiserwoodz In reply to JamieRobertson [2007-12-29 21:44:08 +0000 UTC]
I'm not exactly qualified to explain this... but I'll try a bit. Its really hard, but I find that you should *really* pay attention to placement of stuff. Like don't think "ok the jaw is curved down" and do that. You have to keep checking the reference pic for exact areas. Yea I sound stupid but it does help.

JamieRobertson In reply to bruiserwoodz [2007-12-30 17:58:38 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, thanks. That's great advice. I suppose I do just tend to draw how I think something should look, I'll be sure to refer to the subject more.
