So I was asked to make a tutorial for Nepeta horns.With that I did my best to explain how I made them...though clearly I feel like I have failed at it.
So I'm sorry if I have and that if didn't work or help out.
The Nepeta horns have been claimed.
Though if you wish to have some you can still note me and we can see what we can do.

The bottom layer is Geranium. The middle layer is Marmalade. And the top layer is Chamomile. They are all Martha Stewart multi-purpose high gloss acrylic craft paint.

I have all the materials and have tried to make these but I can't seem to make the right shape. >~< any tips?

Um I'm not sure. All the tips I did/kind of knew are in the tutorial. Could you maybe send me a picture or a link to the picture of the horns in a note so I could see what happened and all? I do better when seeing it and all if that makes sense.

If I were to cosplay as Meulin, I make the horns bigger?
You don't have to answer this, but, what contacts would you use for the 'dead' eyes?

Yes you would just make them a bit bigger.
And I'm not all too sure. But if you look on google dead eyes contacts I believe something will come up.

Okay, i'm making these and I live in a very humid area. Do you have any tips to help them dry faster? Would a Hairdryer help them dry faster?

I wouldn't use a hairdryer, but then again I'm not all sure because I've never done it myself so I don't know how the clay would react to it.
But I think if you just keep them in front of a fan then they would dry faster.

Thank you for responding and sadly,no the hairdryer experiment did not go so well. So i was asking my friends as to what i should do and one of them suggested i put it in the freezer, so i did and that worked! Thank you for posting this tutorial it was the best one I could find.

Yes that is all you really need to do. Just get a bit more clay then you should be fine.

It can all depend on which horns you are making. But if it is for Nepeta I would say a think one to be safe.

This looks great! I'm totally using this. Instead of using a headband, though, I'll probably superglue some hairpins to the bottom so I don't have to get a headband or anything.
