CatspawDTP — It isn't real, but . . .

Description . . . I can dream, can’t I?

On the front cover is the Chamber of the Sun ; on the back cover is the Chamber of the Moon . They are entirely from my own imagination, not from any episode, but they seem logical in context.

Apparently, another group of folks began working on a project under the same title back in May. I was unaware of that when I came up with the title independently. There’s no connection between the two.

I love this project and this is simply amazing. I hold a special hope this will one day be real and my rpg character can rp with other characters than just my three friends. We take turns being narrator after we discovered this. You are amazing.

Thanks very much for the compliment and the favorites! I’m glad you enjoy my work, and I hope you continue to do so into the future.

Be aware that the submission on which you’re commenting isn’t the same as the role-playing game. I created the cover artwork first, for a hypothetical book of fiction, then re-used the artwork for the role-playing game.

We shall see. I have to admit that, especially in recent months, there’s been a lot of movement in areas I hadn’t expected—so who knows what might happen?

Ah! To dream that copyright laws were not so stringent and that my works would be considered of enough value to be included in such a compilation! Alas! My meager skills...

An excellent idea using your distinct designs. I'm sorry that these didn't win the T-shirt contest. Would there be desktop-sized versions available of each?

Whoops! And I didn’t answer your question. No, I’m afraid there isn’t at the moment—the idea never occurred to me. I’ll have to check the pixel count to see if it’s large enough to handle modern monitor sizes.

Moon—2560 by 1440 , 1920 by 1080 , 2048 by 2048

It would be wonderful to see such a collection. I doubt it will happen, but one always can hope.

I was disappointed none of the three designs made the cut in the contest, but I wasn’t surprised. There were a lot of excellent designs, and while Lunabucks had the advantage of being humorous—that usually always wins, if humor is allowed in a contest—the other two probably were too esoteric for a general audience. My only hope is that We Love Fine likes them well enough to approach me independently of the contest, which has happened in the past to other artists.

One of my few complaints about the contest was that so few "classy" shirts were entered and voted up. I'm sorry that your design, and a few I did vote for, didn't receive more attention.

“Classy”, alas, tends to have a limited appeal; it requires a certain sophistication of taste that is anything but universal.

I call it the “artist’s artist problem”. There are many artists—in all fields—virtually unknown to, or at least un(der)appreciated by, the general public. An example of this in music is the early-1970s rock band T. Rex. It enjoyed only modest success with the public, but was hugely influential among other musicians; it’s mentioned by name in several rock songs from other acts.
