Episode Zero is absolutely my favorite part of GW. It's a shame that Endless Waltz doesn't give any time to the story of how Treize and Leia met--that's only the instigating event for the whole movie!

I always wonder about how much he knew. My theory is that Leia knew Dekim was crazy, and she didn't want to let him get his claws into this promising young officer. As Treize gained more power she DEFINITELY wouldn't want to give Dekim any power. ...and then she died, of unknown causes.

Me too. I still like Blind Target though. I still think Dekim had something to do with Leia's death. But yes the mysteries. I can't blame Leia for keeping Treize's out of his reach but I kind of feel sorry for Mariemaia getting dragged into this. I'm guessing Leia didn't tell her anything about Trieze.

Whatever Leia told her, it wasn't enough to counter the stories Dekim put in her head. Something about being heir to the whole world...
