I really like the perspective in which you chose. I really wish there was a bit more focus but Overall it really has a nice soft feel, and great lighting and perspective

hey did you use a macro? i'm trying to research macro lenses and i'm just trying to get opinions because a.) there are so many different types and b.) i have no idea about them at all
i have one of the new digi rebel xts so i dont even know if they fit (im fairly new in the photography world)
any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated so i can nail awesome shots like this one!!

and yes, I did use a macro lens... but I'm also quite new to photography, and I still have soooo much to learn.
My lens is made specifically for my camera, olympus, and with the olympus camera you can change the settings for macro shooting, so it helps to focus, for shutter speeds etc... I don't really know about other cameras... wish I could help you out

Very nice detail....love the color and softness of it too. I could so see a little fairy sitting on the mushroom piece on the left beside that blade of grass
