I am just so creative with titles.This one took me quite a few hours to finish omf, and these are just supposed to be like sketches for later when i make the actual picture/bio/info things. Anyway i'm quite proud of her and she was hard to draw, i wanted to capture her right but i think i failed a bit? So ignore all the mistakes please. >.<
First piece of art i've done in around a week, which is a lot of time spent not drawing...
I used a ref by Kate-FoX for the pose and images off of google for the wing references and everything. I tried to make her face look as much like the movie Merida(which is hard considering the 3D-ness)
I changed her shoes a bit, these are probably more practical for a rough second leader of a tiny flock of runaway mutant kids.
In this crossover Merida's co-leading with Jack Frost, and despite Jack and Merida fighting alongside each other and just clicking really well, i doubt anything romantic will ever happen in my mind between them. XD; Sorry ahaha but maybe? I have a few nice scenes playing out in my mind. Anyway mostly i think they bug the living hell out of each other and just have the other's back.
She's a bit tomboyish and very resourceful in this crossover thing i think and would protect her flock like a fierce momma bear. She's loving and caring but believes in tough love. She gets along better with the boys in her group but doesn't have an issue with the others. She might have trust issues with other groups of kids and whitecoats. Also i'm thinking she stole that bow after they escaped and she just took a liking to it. She's a crack shot with her raptor vision. Also she usually ties her hair up(like seen in my other chibis of her) when she flies or makes plans, since her bushy hair might get tangled or snagged onto something.

I think she's just hard to draw in general. I tried drawing from some screencaps when the movie came out to figure out her face.. and no. That was terrible. Something about how they designed her makes it hard to render her in 2d. I think you did a good job though.

omf, in the books there are these monstrous wolf creatures called Erasers and some have wings. But omf a bear with wings would be scary shit. Like that valentine's card with the bear with chainsaw arms if you've ever seen that one. XD

XD i really don't know, just once saw that picture somewhere and it stuck with me. I remember the most random of things the best.
That eraser is actually just around 7 or 8 years old as far as i can remember. XD you really should read the books omf you'll see his childlike personality come forth in the books. But yeah probably. XD when he's fully morphed into an Eraser he looks like a werewolf though.

Actually he was born normally and kept normal for a while(i don't want to spoil omf) but there are other test tube babies. XD Same... it always freaks me out when i go to a doctor because obviously my first thoughts go to those books and me being the main character of my own messed up lab rat story. UnU but it's fun. XD

hmm, there are more, it's max, fang, then Angel, and never more, i think that's all, just angel and nevermore, then it's done. But there are rumors about a movie and then there are manga coming out, so that's awesome as well. XD

oh wow. QHQ hosptals are full of ghost stories, i've read a few, where people have actually seen a nurse arrive for work but she wasn't actually a nurse there anymore, and when they turned she was gone again, turned out it was a nurse who had died years earlier. But ahaha there's actually a thing i've heard about, that hospitals are more haunted than graveyards actually, since people don't really die in graveyards and all. But i think then again all the emotions regarding a graveyard is enough to cause some things to want to dwell there... I love the supernatural, not a firm believer, but also not really a skeptic. xD you?

I hope it's good as well, but the talks about the movie started like years ago and it should have come out last year according to the first posts we started seeing, but we haven't heard much lately... I do hope they make the wings look good and just get the right actors to play the parts, like they wanted to get Edward from Twilight to play Fang... Nothing against the actor but he's really not a fang, fang is dark skinned, and just awesome. QHQ
Ahahah lots of people imagine Max as a boy at first. XD You have no idea how many people i've spoken to who have imagined her as a guy at first, that's why later on in the books she takes on a more girly air about her and fans freak out, but yes, it's always fun finding someone who likes a lot of the same types of things! The writer, James Patterson has also written another series called Daniel X that's also something about aliens i think, i haven't read it, but i've heard people enjoy it. But i'm glad i helped bring it to your attention. XD you should tell me about books too!
Oh yeah, you don't mess with things you can't deal with, like seriously, do not get too involved with spirits and things because sometimes i've heard it can invite things like that into your life, it makes total sense, it's interesting to learn about but i doubt it's something you should go into further than you should.

ever watched the mini web series of maximum ride via youtube? haha there were tons of em but i've never seen a complete series as of late...XD aw man...they better pull through with it~ i think they'll do a pretty nifty job with the wings- i always wanted to see how Max's wings look like...she described how they look but i kept picturing her wings having spots on it for some reason...dang it! hahahah...hmm interesting...who'd your dreamcast be for the movie?

oooh, fan things. xD yeah, there's quite a lot of talented people in this fandom of ours, but for some reason they hardly ever finish something or take it through.. I do hope they make it look good, because i've seen other things where they've placed wings on people/angels and there's usually always things that tick the fans off about the wings, it's hard to please fans. XD I really don't know who i'd pick as the cast, Max would be hard, but there's this guy on this show called Victorious that's a sho win for my fang, and Rue from the Hunger Games would make an awesome Nudge in my mind. Angel would be i think that girl from Las Miserables or something like that. Yours?
I haven't heard of that book but it sounds like the war of the worlds like. XD or that movie they joked about in one of the scary movies with the red weed.

aw man...the physics alone for the wings are something to really study bout...one wrong movement and it's game over for whoever animated em...hahaha...true that...fans have set the bar so high at times it's ridiculous but at the same time it serves as a good challenge for anyone~ haha. yea, Max is a tough cookie to cast - though i keep seeing her as Piera Forde after watching her vids before reading the book...dang it! hhahaha i cannot catch a break! hahaha....hmm so far i gots nada for Fang - another tough cookie to cast...Gazzy could be that flash kid from that Eddie Murphy movie but i bet that kid's grown...ZOMG i haven't thought about Rue being Nudge! she's perfect for that role! as long as she could pull off Nudge's chattery trait hahahaha...Iggy- i pictured as that Edmund guy from Narnia with lighter colored hair...LOL...hmm Angel i pictured as...........kid Drew Barrymore - (facepalm...i'm hopeless)...and Dakota Fanning has grown up too...LOL

I think Dakota Fanning has a younger sister that looks even sweeter though? So maybe her, but i'm not sure. XD but yeah, it's touch casting a real person as a character in your mind. Like Hayley Williams from Paramore is the perfect cast for my character Anne in my mind really. xD but can't get her drawn right. but those you mentioned might be good picks actually.

Nah, it's more of a thing that there's only 6 movie screens in our movie place and they'd rather show boring local things because the interest in them would be more than some minor/not that popular book to movie thing. Like they didn't show Vampire Academy here as far as i know and stuff like that, but they'd show the Avengers and big budget things like that(which i luckily love)
