Description
The impact was jarring. We gunned the engines even higher, well past speeds we would need to achieve light speed, in hopes to penetrate the defensive barrier surrounding the planet. After what seemed like an eternity, we were thrown to the back of our seats as the barrier gave way and our ship propelled into the galaxy beyond...Apo + Chaotica

Hey dude, while I am rendering print sizes of my artwork, I don't want larger versions of my artwork floating about the internet, because people seem to use them all over the place without asking or crediting me, and people have used my work commercially without compensating me. I'd prefer for this not to happen, and thus don't share larger versions of my artwork.

It kind of reminds me of a black hole... except purple. That's so beautiful; I hope to paint/draw like that one day!~ So wonderful and talented ^o^

Very beautiful indeed. Not my type of things to look at. And I'm not the type to comment. But this deserves even more then stars then now. Good work. Keep it up

Thank you I'll always keep trying, but I guess we'll see how successful I actually am XD
Honestly, I do wish I could work with more representative artwork and characters, but it'd be a loooong process to begin learning how to draw. I am slowly trying, and maybe some day I'll surprise the world with something that's not a fractal, lol XD

Other than the sharpness of the 'nebulae' in the foreground, this is convincingly space art. The composition even feels similar to some things I've tried. Looking forward to more!

The sharpness at the top right is pretty much the only part that bugs me, if only for the really dark patch below it not being diffused by blur or a glow and adding more body to that "cloud" formation. I was more concerned with working on the "ship" and finding a reasonable transform angle that allowed me to frame most things in an interesting way than I was with portraying a convincing nebula.
There were like six things that came out of the session of exploring this fractal, though this is definitely my favorite in terms of color schemes and energy. The other things are a bit more focused on texture and space than a presentation of a scene like this.

Awesome composition; strategic and successful use of negative colors. I especially like how the stars glitter upon the darker-than-black backdrop. Really pretty blues, purples and golds in the positive areas, a classic combination. Great story too - reading the story really enlightens the viewer to view the art as more of a scene depicting the described event.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at... But it's beautiful, in a very chaotic, natural way.
