I keep watch, far enough away to be invisible. But when I feel like some overstep their bounds, I approach...

Because this thing is too darn complex, I want to show off the setup for it just to get a sense of how much stuff I worked with to get all the effects, from the reflections on the eyes (two isolated xaos loops, one for the brightness, one for some structure making it seem like the reflection had some depth), the the scales around the eye (a xaos loop of like 8 iterators), and the eye itself (one xaos loop). It took me three days to get the eye and shapes around it working, and the base itself was from a planet that looked surprisingly like an eye...so this was a bit more time-intensive than what I usually create these days!
