I had a funny situation in the skirmish in which I did this. At some point in the middle of the game (it was a free-for-all with brutal AIs), I lost my Soviet Construction Yard to a Tanya that had been airlifted into my base (I don't really put up air defences unless someone will end up building Kirovs). almost as a bit of revenge, I took the offending player's MCV and built an allied addition to my base until I captured another Soviet MCV. I then did a What-the-Hell case of capturing the oil derricks in the center of the map (Bering Straits) and built a nice compact assembly of at least 10 war factories, 2 Grand Cannons, and countless SAM sites and pillboxes for added measure.I then took an hour ferrying apocalypse tanks from this outlet to the outer islands before launching the final assault. The entire skirmish took a little over three hours.

Not really, since I was playing in a free-for-all match. However, it did get rather interesting from time to time.

i usual play with an allied to can make a nice match.while my ally distract the enemies,i am almost invisible on the battlefield...nothing because i prepare the best units for attack but when i attack...you can say the match is already win ^_^.

'Grats on getting all of the tanks to the first rank, I saw some that were third rank. There is nothing better then having a squad of level three Apocalypse tanks to level the enemy.

Were you ever familiar with the things that you could get with allied spies? If you can get a spy into a war factory, all vehicles that are produced from that point onwards will start off as veterans. The same goes with the barracks for infantry.

Unfortunately no. But when I get the chance to start playing RA2 again, I'll see about getting myself to facing craploads of Libyans as the Koreans on Hard AI (the modded version allows each faction to build two unique faction units instead of just one unique unit).

i will sometimes make a super fortress after stealing the allies mcv and then putting them into a "vegetable" state then i build all over the map
so far i'm working on a map where 3 allies chrono miners are in a pen and i have all three mcvs (playing as soviet) soviet, yuri, and allies. and so far i'm almost finished with it

I'd sometimes do the same thing, but I found to get rather boring. I typically like to just take my forces and move them to a central island to make my base, leaving only my ore refinery on the mainland. As long as there are oil derricks on the island, I'm safe.
