So I'm working on a model and I want to select the outfit only so I go into the msk tab and disable everything so that only the outfit is showing. But the bones and joints etc of the parts I hid are still able to be selected. How do I make it so I can only select the parts that I have visible in the msk tab?If anything I asked needs to be explained better please tell me and I'll try to explain it better.
But please heeelpp me pleaaaseee.

I don't think there's a way to disable specific joints, physics, and bones, but you can add or remove certain ones from your selection.
To add some to your selection, hold shift and highlight the desired bone, joint, etc.
To subtract something from your selection, hold ctrl and highlight the desired bone, joint, etc.

Ok so I have another question for you. What do I do if the clothing's sleeves don't fit my model? Like everything else fits good, but the sleeves are too high. I tried selecting the sleeves and moving them down to fit the arms but it just doesn't look right and when I load her into MMD, her skirt is jittering all over the place. I'm trying to get a school uniform for my character and I've gone through so many because they weren't rigged or they are and this happens. Is it just problematic clothing or am I doing something wrong? Sorry if I'm taking up your time.

I have the same problem but sometimes I can manage to fit clothes or other stuff. I try to change the size and adjust at first but if it doesnt work I delete specific vertices. Because the skin shows when we try to fit clothes that dont fit. In that case just delete part of the skin thats showing. Its not really a solution but is just a simple way to get it done. And about the skirts, be sure to select the bones, physics and joints of the part you are selecting. They need to be resized along with the vertices in order to function properly.
