I’ve been going back to my most of the incomplete animations from last year and finishing them. Including my old lip sync practice animations. This is one out of three scenes with Sally’s voice.
At first, it was just meant to be a rough. No background, no color, no finished lines (similar to what I did with the Bunnie animation ). But curiosity got the best of me as wondered what the animation will look like if I had a bg and some simple colors slapped on. And well, here it is!

You know, this works well with my headcanon of how Sally could be integrated into Sega continuity: Eggman discovers the once-thought-lost SEVENTH Chaos Emerald is in the possession of Sally Alicia Acorn, Princess of the Knothole Forest Zone. Sonic catches wind of this, spies Eggman building a new factory to produce warbots to lay siege to the forest, and figures he'll be SWIMMING in chili if he saves a princess... Only to discover once inside that she's already found a way in, and she's not at all what he expected.

Thanks. I've worked it over a few times over the years, tried to find some piece of Sonic lore that I could squeeze Knothole into. I settled on the lost Wood Zone from the Sonic 2 beta, and I instantly had my "in".

I think this voice is too slow, high pitched, and "trying to be seductive" for Sally.

Not trying to disrespect the voice here, but I don't hear much similarity at all. This sounds more sexually teasing than that of a political and strike team leader. The official Sally, even in that old cartoon, had more of an assertive and leading voice. I would recommend to LauraAlenaBlue to try to sound more like that (but in a more matured tone). I'm confident that she has potential and hope that this could help for future voice work with Sally.
And again, sorry if this sounded rude in any way. I'm pretty enthusiastic for fan animations like this and wanted to give some feedback on what could potentially be improved for future work, if you're both okay with that.
