guuuuu this is so old and I advocate color dodge X 3 layers. OOOOOH I am a heathen!!! I plan to post an updated eye tutorial covering more the style I color eyes now. haha for one I HAATE my highlights on this eye. But since it seemed to be such a hit on biorust I figured I may as well repost it. Enjoy.This was done in photoshop 7.0 I believe though it was long enough ago I cant remember for sure. Basic photoshop knowledge reccomended

this helps, but now I have to translate it to pixa language 'cause the layering system and brush system aren't nearly as complex, so I'll need substitute techniques for it

TT.TT Don't have ANY art programs on this hunk-o-junk so I'd spend a bagillion hours softening it with individual colors on paint. X3 Not worth my time. Lol If only I still had that open canvas thingy.

it should just be a brush preset. Can you screencap your brushes window and show me what's coming up?

Which PS ver are you using now? I've tried PS 7 and then CS3, but none of them has such kind of brush

I just use a big soft brush. If using a tablet set opacity to pen pressure and turn off "shape dynamics" However to change how soft or hard a brush is you can go to the "brush tip shape" in the brush menu and play with "hardness" to make it either hard or soft.
