Prairie was a little late to the learning this week so quickly grabbed the closest fire class student without actually pairing up properly and asked for help all panicky. I'm sorry Vay, Cobalt's my victim this time.
Gosh darn it Prairie you don't go and steal the one student who's having the most trouble with fire. But hey at least she asked after he'd already done his part with an actual partner already.
Combine her nerves with cool looking fish guy, being late and the darn heat in the forge it took a little while to get the wind gusts going.
She starts flapping her wings with the stess and it ended up helping so much she's kinda crushed Cobalt's fire with the wind.

Aka I totally forget about the partner's this week and I needed to draw this right now before I forget so I grabbed the coolest fire student around, a literal fish boy. Perfect
