Description Yay i finished it ^^

I started this very late, and i'm sorry.

I added some tips on effects to make up for that

So, enjoy

I don't have a lot to do now...
Eccept drawing Bill (Tokio hotel) for a friend of mine...
freak...

XD

So, i will start working on the comic i'm planning on making.
*gasp*

I'm writing the story right now, and making the characters.

I allready wrote and scetched the beginning.

The main story is supposed to be a secred, but i will give away that its gonna be about the six elements. (water, fire, earth, wind, ether and void/darkness)
And the main character is gonna be an elf boy named Gael.

:3

if you have any further questions about things on the tutorial, or want me to make a short- tutorial about something else (proportions, eyes, lineart...)

Oh, thank you! I'm glad to hear it helped, always nice to get positive feedback.

As for backgrounds, I'm not the type to draw them a lot... at least, not all that detailed. You could always ink them and colour them like you would any regular lineart, but it would take a long time... So, for most basic backgrounds I tend to quickly sketch out what I want and then block it out with colours, almost like painting. It helps set the mood at least without needing ridiculous amounts of detailing. But, it all depends on what you want your bg to express, hmm.

Thank you making the tutorial, it was extremely helpful, and by far the best one I have read on DA!! (no joke!) It was easy to understand and you didn't try to explain everything all in one go.
Also, great watermark advice, I've always wondered how to do those love the tutorial, definate also, I love the picture you used for it, so cute going to draw something now so I can use my new knowledge!!!

Great ^^
I'm so happy that i could help you, and thanks for the compliments

I hope you don't mide the spelling-mistakes... I learned american-english from
pokemon, friends, deviantart and kingdom hearts 2, now i'm forced to talk british at school. I don't really speak any form of decent english

And yes,Watermarks are important...
People will allways try and steal your art... Its a fact...
You don't allways have to keep these watermarks serious
I make them "back off biatches!" or "watermark watermark waaaatermark"
sometimes... XD

You should make them as funny as you can.

Heheh ^^
If you draw something long (such as a lineup of uh.. characters or something)
you can make a very long watermark instead of repeating a small one
