Description
SacrificePulsian Champion
I can not pass an opportunity to get my work looked at by the artist who heavily influenced me 8u I'm not confident at all, I'm a timid mess when it comes to this kind of stuff, but I made a promise to myself to be more confident and bolder this year so I will try my best!
This idea I wanted to make an armour that is sleek but kind of regal, a noble knight of chaos~
I also wanted to keep her colours because I love Black, white and red together, I think it looks hella sexy, I just made black the ultimate dominant colour to fit the theme a little more~
I chose to keep her outfit completely covering everything because of its form fitting design, the heels are mostly aesthetic also, it just added a little more to the 'sleek' look I wanted like in the first sketch on the left :'D
So yea that's a thing :'D I might think of others through the week, I had some ideas but i think I should look up the LR outfits to make sure my ideas aren't already a thing XD
I'm absolutely terrified of entering this contest, but good luck everyone!

I like the silhouette of the shoulders, it gives her a top heavy feel with those thin legs. It's definitely sleek!

Thanks. ;_; Maybe I'll let you know when it's up.
By the way, your lines are so lovely and sketchy (yet beautifully deliberate!) in your stuff. What do you use?

Aw thank you so much, I sketch in SAI with the crayon tool for my lines, it has a kind of texture that makes it look a little more traditional cB

Unf. For all that Photoshop is lovely, I've also found there's a couple of other programs that do nicer sketch lines.
I miss OpenCanvas like burning. ;____;
May have just given every one of your deviations five views. This may or may not be me trying to be friends with you.

Photoshop doesn't like me much :'D I've found SAI to be better for just going nuts and sketching up a storm :'D Never been one for refining my work, my clean lines kind of look like arse XD
Can't get OpenCanvas again? I've never tried that one 8u
Hnnnn :'D My gallery is heavily OC oriented ahaha, fanart is such a rare thing for me so I'm seriously only used to getting a tiny amount of messages ;u; My body wasn't ready for all the comments and favs

Well, OpenCanvas is only for Windows and I'm all Mac. D:
But it had bea-utiful pencil options.
I looooove OCs. Coming up with characters is my favorite past-time, so if I could sketch like you, man. I wouldn't get anything else done!
(Might have to just commission you instead...)
Really like the designs I've been cruising so far, too. Are they for-- comics? Or books, or?

Chopstuff In reply to illogicality [2014-02-12 21:10:38 +0000 UTC]
Ohhhhh dang :'D That's the worst. Pencil option are pretty much the biggest thing I look for too, Discovering the crayon tool in SAI was like the greatest thing for my sketches though XD so texture-y~
I swear I never get anything done, too busy doodling my babies :'D
Some of them are for stories I've been planning but I just need to push myself to do it :'D I haven't been able to sit down and think on it properly having a kid around XD it's ok though, I'll get there eventually ahaha

Yeahhh. You just inspired me to research stuff for Macs, though and I may have found something.
A kind of Painter-lite, with a much cheaper price to match.
Maybe I'll have to dig into it when I get home from work.
Hee. Well, it seems like a good way to pass the time to me.
//push push push
Hey, would you be terribly offended if I tried doodling faces like you do a couple of times?

I wish I could remember what my mac using friend used for her amazing painting... it may have just been photoshop but I'm so sure some of them used some fancy programs ;u;
Oh gosh no, I'd be flattered :'D I hope it helps in some way :'D

Corel Painter is pretty ass fancy! But also pretty ass expensive, so.
Β
If it interests you, in return, I could Note you with a glimpse at my Lightning WIP?

um...I know I might sound like a noob but I'm working with traditional and I'm unsure how to get thingsΒ the right size..as I suck at all things digital..Β so um.... how do keep from squishing my character?
π: 0 β©: 1
Chopstuff In reply to Jayceel [2014-02-12 20:28:07 +0000 UTC]
What program are you using to do it? If you're using photoshop or SAI hold down shift as you resize and it should keep its dimensions from squishing.
It's ok we were all new to it once :'D I still have no idea what half the functions even do ahahaha
