A simple wallpaper.I haven't done any space artworks recently so this one was quite fun to do i think.
I still like the genre, and if i'll ever buy prints they'll definitely be about space.
To me space art of all genres has the most aesthetic value and beauty. Unfortunately most of the great old-school space artists aren't active anymore, so you usually see crappy pieces like this one.

I think this is really engaging, and I like it a lot. The only thing I'd have to critique on this is the pillar of light that only goes up is not realistic of any actual stars, if you had another pillar of light in the other direction as well you could make it a quasar, or instead of a pillar of light, have one or two large solar flares coming off the star. But overall I really like it.

I really love this. There is a great lonely beauty about space paintings. Don't know if that makes any sense, but that's the way I feel about them. There is something incredibly lonely about space, yet there is so much beauty in it.
This picture is awesome and I think it'll be my new wallpaper.

Ha. Very marvelous piece you made here. That blue color you have going on there is so wonderful.
Although painted superbly, the nebula to me for some reason seems boring. Perhaps if it were more wicked and withering with more highlights? However if the mood of the picture is supposed to be forlorn, I suppose it fits rather well. I'm not as drawn to it as I'd like to be.
You're planets seem kind of lame, texture wise; lighting and shading is perfect however. From what my inexperienced eyes see it looks almost like a poorly distorted texture. Almost. Maybe if it was more distinguished or something. Even if the texture isn't that great the overall effect of it is.
Oh gosh those lights are so fantastic. As are the lens flares. Very very nice picture you have here. Very nice.

well, im no expert in art and im no expert in space but this looks really awsome. i also cant express professionally what i like about it because 1 im no artist and 2 english is not my native language.
all i can say is that i love the glow and the detail on the planet in the front. it just looks extremely huge. the whole scene looks really big. never seen anything like this before. when you look at the different planets the scale of the scene must be enormous.
and well, i already said it to one of you last images... usually i have to naked women on my desktop, but now its this piece of art substituting another piece of art made by you. (this one actually: [link] )

It first appears as a dark region of space with only a small flaring light to keep the darkness away. As your eye catches the surrounding area around that small beacon of light, the darkness of space is revealed to contain pinpricks of other light and warmth.

Technically, moons don't orbit so close to their planets, unless they're on a collision course. Of course, who said collisions in space are a bad thing (from a distance)? (And besides, me being nitpicky about science is me being dumb.)
