I don't have prints available for this artwork, unfortunately. Because it was a collaboration we agreed not to sell it.

Well, i don't mind as long as it's for personal use but you'll have to ask *ZwordArts too, it's partially his work as well.

did you paint that planet in the foreground by hand?
π: 0 β©: 1
ChrisCold In reply to Moonasha [2011-01-07 21:17:04 +0000 UTC]
No, it's mostly a texture that i used as base and only painted some details on top

Very nice. Eerie, sort of - great fodder for storytelling. I'm intrigued about the collaborative process - I've never done it beyond the initial concept.

how are you going to use it in a photo?
π: 0 β©: 1
jewlogic In reply to ChrisCold [2010-04-09 16:33:43 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm,
well if you want to use it as a stock image, i have to say no because it's not a stock resource
you can show me your photo though before you upload it, maybe it's not a big deal after all, but if you really need stock images there are plenty of them even on deviant art, and you can use them without even asking for permission.

I really like the perspective of the asteroid ring, as well as the strands of dark matter through the nebula. Very well done.

Nice work. I like the colors, and the perspective on the rings is excellent. Great work with the atmosphere too...nice and soft.

Breath taking. The colors work together and fade into different shades.

I really like the nebula in this. And the overall color of the piece is amazing too.

If you don't mind me asking, what was used to make the nebula? It looks like you just brushed it in with photoshop (which is why I think I like it so much) but at the same time it looks too complex to just be brushed. If you've answered this question a bunch of times already forgive my ignorance.
