Day 15: Favorite region in the Pokemon worldHoenn! To me every area in ruby/sapphire held pretty unique qualities, they never really blended together to me for the most part unlike in other games. It was always something fresh or new, from a forest, to a volcanic path, to a desert, to the route I chose to illustrate here, the one with all the wooden bridges and tall grass and waterfalls. Don't remember the number, but it's the path that you had to take to get to Fortree City. I haven't ever really done a landscape shot like this before, so it was pretty interesting. I have lots to learn about it though, especially in regards to color palette. -_-

Despite having a heck load of water routes and eternal rain,Hoenn is pretty cool.
I especially like Fortree and Sootopolis cities.

Colors got me lookin all over the place brah, it looks good but there are too many things catching my eye that its hard to take the entire thing in at once, and appreciate the entire piece. Still looks good though.

No it's pretty shit, I had no idea how to paint something like this. I've done some research since and am probably going to give it another try for today's challenge.

My absolute favorite route
Of All Time.
And painted so nicely! I actually like the colors a lot - mostly appropriately dark, since it was always raining on that route, but with enough brightness thrown in to keep things interesting. The water colors are beautiful. Seeing Route 119 out of the blue on Deviantart just made my day, pretty much. ^^
