Description
The Zero X crew find the buried remains of a previous visitor to mars.Coincidently posting this the same day Beagle 2 was found on the martian surface. I remember reading that Curiosity would eventually fail through wear and tear Β and be buried by dust storms. Probably not to the degree shown here, but hey you never know what those pesky rock snakes get up to.
Made in Blender, vue and photoshop.

This is almost bound to happen at some point.Β
Β Once human flights to Mars are (at least somewhat) commonplace, there will be at least one mission to find out the fate of one of our robotic explorers.

Ha Ha, Rock Snakes, just got the Blue Ray of 'Go'...oh such joy to see it projected on the big screen!
A wee touch of clarification:
It wasn't wear and tear that saw to the cessation of Curiosity it was the obscuring of it's solar panels by those dust storms and were they to be cleared by Martian winds it could resume it's exdploration.
But I digress...Great to see Zero X again it never got the development in the shows that it deserved (the opening of 'Go' is just wonderful) though the comic strip did do it justice.

Very good. Β Just out of frame to the right, is the giant fan that all the crap hit, about 15 minutes later Β

Love that lighting and the way you've foregrounded the remains. Great work

Love the retro-80 design of the lander. Easily reproducible as a C-cell battery-eater that every boy wants under the Christmas tree.

That's brilliant. How long do you recon till Curiosity finds signs of Mysteron activity?

I'm sure they Mysteronised it along time ago

I always wonder about the continuity between those two series - the Thunderbirds Are Go movie has both the Zero-X and those Rock Snakes, yet the Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons series never mentions the rock snakes, despite being set in the same 'universe'...

If it helps, the comic versions are all interconnected, the actual shows are not. In one of the comics the Mysterons hide some rock-snakes on a transport heading for earth.
