Description
Not necessarily a dramatic shot for once but I wanted to showcase this original design that I am quite pleased with. Still coming up with newlydaft ways to make planes unique looking.Made in Photoshop and Blender

Superb design! It looks like it is airworthy and aerodynamic, very realistic which enhances the feel of the piece. Shading and reflections are astounding; I can picture exactly how shiny and glossy the fuselage is just by looking at the reflection of the sun on the side of the plane. Water reflections are spot on as well.
I have seen this type of wing design before, so iβll give a 4.5/5 for orgininality, but I do love the cockpit and central fuselage design, the air intake location, and the shape and placement of the engine.
The technique is brilliant, it looks like real life!
The impact of this piece is incredible, as this aircraft seems like it could be actually in production by any country with a significant military presence. You can visualize many things about this aircraft simple from certain details; the reflection helps with imagining the smoothness of the metal fuselage, the sharp angled wings indicate itβs superb mobility, agility and speed.
Overall this is incredible. I love it!

Awesome Work! Looks like it Belongs in the Ace Combat Universe! Chris has Done a Superb Job with the Looks and Setting for the aircraft! Hope This Isn't the Last Design We'll see from him! This Looks like a Top Gun Grade aircraft! I'm Not Sure what it's Role is,but it Looks Awesome! Anyone who Says anything Bad is just Jealous! This is so Well done,I'd Almost thought it was a Screen cap from an Ace Combat Game! Hopefully Chris Keeps up the Superb Work No Matter What the Subject! Thanks for a Superb Artwork Masterpiece,Chris! Keep it Coming my Friend!

This is a fantastic design - the compound-wing not only looks amazing but looks practical. I'm only coming at this from the perspective of a layman, but I think you've come up with something that looks genuinely balanced and airworthy. Kudos and huzzah!

Β I actually saw a plane like this on Tomorrow's World years ago. The idea was to bring back the superior lift of a biplane without the drag of the struts/braces.

Reminds me of Captain Scarlet ! Looks cool to fly ! Maybe a bit too much brown in the pic but it still looks sexy

I love this! I'd love even more to see a cockpit design and then add it to a flight sim for Vr.

Eventually might do a cockpit. Β If I can find a use for the design i'd develop it more.

It's pretty cool!Β I agree with that it looks like something from Ace Combat!Β My only critique is that I feel like having the wings set like that would make the craft extremely unstable without something to balance it out, like maybe a set of canards.Β Of course, I'm no engineer, so maybe it could work.Β I just can't help but see this thing nosing-up on its own upon takeoff.Β Β

I thought I might have a suggestion, but, I looked again, and it looks like an illusion of the craft's lines. Superb work! Overall sleek design, and could work as an aerospace craft.

its deffinately a Great design Chris,
Love the it just rained look, do i see markings of the world navy? how does it carry its weapons internally or external?
Is it grey...
The ancient Greek word aithΓ΄n means "burning", "blazing" or "shining." Less strictly, it can denote the colour red-brown, or "tawny."

Yup, I always quite liked the C21 armed forces logos and use them alot in my own work. I'd imagine hardpoints would go on the fore wings, kinda more imagine it as a simple unarmed fast jet though.

Coming up with something truly unique in appearance isn't easy. I'm kind of in mourning for how so many of the 5th generation fighters across the world look so similar, even if I do understand that there are only so many optimal airframe shapes to fit a given demand. It's just like how Jaguars look like Buicks which in turn look like every other mid-level and above car nowadays, it's truly depressing.
As far as the image itself goes this is beautiful. The lighting angle is great and I really like the detailing of the apron itself, shining in some places with water from a recent rain storm.

I'm more just funning with you, but, uh... yeah. "unique." heh heh
Honestly, I was inspired by an idea or three from various works (M2F2, Hammerheads (Space:AaB), etc) so I'm not pointing a finger by any means. ...and I'm only slightly jealous that yours looks much better.
My main inspiration for the plane was a sparrow (bird) landing so we both might be in dutch with the man upstairs.

Ooops, amusingly I very nearly had the fore wings going underneath the body in the way you have as well. Kinda funny that we matched the color-scheme though.
Lovely design.

Gray for aircraft is hardly unique. My mom used to point out to me that nobody really comes up with "original" concepts. Given the focused input we all have, it's likely someone else is coming up with the same "great" idea, around the same time you are.
Cheers, and if I didn't say it before, same.

Looks incredible! Is that the Triforce on the wings I see there?
I love the colour scheme you have used for this piece, the ladder sands out as well due to its bright orange colour.
You give so much attention to detail in all your works, such as the way the lighting hits and reflects off the tail of the plane.
Congratulations on another great piece of work!

Thanks and much appreciated.
It's an adapted version of the World Navy logo from Captain Scarlet but yeah it's basically a triforce.
