Probably more like a dragon colony it'd be nice to have the little ones about, but what they do when they grow up is up to them. Who knows, maybe they'll become guardians of other villages, starting and continuing a tradition that will help dragon and human to live alongside eachother... I'm getting carried away now.

Tablets aren't really a shortcut. I thought using a mouse was much easier, even after I got a tablet, so I had to try and force myself to get used to it...

Fine details are tougher with a tablet, I think. I still use my mouse for finishing touches.
Pressure sensitivity is tremendously useful when making line art, though.

Really? Ok, but I'll still get a tablet! I don't have mouse, I have a laptop pad. And if I did get a mouse, it'll be from the left cuz I have mac and I'm right handed.

Well, I'm sure the tablet will be helpful for you.
They are a huge step up from those track pads, even though the ones on the Apple portables are quite a bit better.

Well, I wanted to include this in that calendar project, but the original looks rather dated when it's near my more recent art. It's also an fun way to practice, and a nice way to add some extra life to an idea.

Retaining the feel that made the previous picture stand out was an interesting challenge, too.
