Curious fact: this form, "Mutated Emperor Ing" in the original english version, is named "Supermutated Emperor Ing" in the Spanish translation, as if it had mutated far more than normal due to all the phazon inside the imperial room (well, technically the "Ing" are called "Dark ones", since adjective nominalization only takes one word. So yeah, "Supermutated Dark Emperor").

Very cool! As your description says, you don't see a lot of art of this challenging, cool-looking boss enemy. Wow, beating him was a pain...in any of his fifty-bazillion forms! None of which changes the fact that this is a great rendition of the ultimate Ing.

I did not, I remember searching on DeviantArt for the Emperor ing and saw very little of it, so I decided to add some fanart! Indeed, this was the hardest boss I ever fought in the metroid prime trilogy!

Seriously this Guy was the best Boss Battle I have EVER seen, and it would have made such a GREAT Final Battle, but the Final Boss of that Game was a TERRIBLE Dark Samus Fight....

the ing emperor boss was the easiest boss ever...i beat his 3 forms in 1 try and in only 6 minuts all together...but faceing dark samus after wasent so easy but enyway... u did an extreamly good job on this one
