...I hope that's the right file I just uploaded.Wellllll! Here it is, my first digital art piece down with a Drawing tablet. I love it! *Snuggles pen* Yupyupyup, I dew this a year ago, but I never colored it well, here's a recoloring! I dunno if the old one is in my gallery or not..
Adobe photoshop elements 5 is pure win, it's effects are cooler and everything, but I had a hard time trying to figure out how to convert a .psd file into one compatible for the web ( I prefer .bmp, but I managed to turn this one into a .png....but you can't find it normally..it's weird.)
And I still stink at drawing backgrounds. -fail-
By the way, I used some brushes I do not own for the background, all credit goes to ~Sunira for that. (The background texture)
any other texture was used by cgtextures.com. Go there!
Metroid Prime has to be the coolest boss ever!

There is something to be said about backgrounds.
They have to fit in with the image the piece is focused on,
they have to blend in seamlessly and make the emotion stand out,
make the overall feeling be as accurate as the artist wishes. This
background does just that. It's light, and with the contrast of Metroid Prime's
dark body, it looks great. You captured the creature itself flawlessly, as well.
I particularly like the glowing eyes. Really sets the image off with a flare in
just the right way. This is epic.

Probably the one of the few that I died a few frustrating times on my first play through on this game. Definitely an awesome last boss though. The music was awesome...
