I think speedpaint is the most appropriate way of depicting Ing. I think the engine was too limited to show the Ing without any definable edge. I always pictured them in my mind more as coalesced shadow than dark flesh.

People always seem to dislike Echos, but I don't know why, it's my favorite of the series as well. I thought the dark/light world was really cool and well done.
Well I always really wanted a like pose able Warrior Ing toy, but that's way out of my league so drawing is about the best I can do. Sigh now I wish I had access to a kiln then I could make an Ing to go with my ridley and metroid.

Oh what a gorgeous picture. Your use of blues and purples meshes so wonderfully together on this piece; I absolutely love how the ground where the legs are touching almost looks like darkness is melting or seeping through or some such. That's a neat effect; easy to miss if you just glance at this image quickly. The way you paint with different tones is really very lovely! I enjoy the way it looks; so much more detailed and vibrant, especially the dark reds and oranges highlighting the body in various places. The most outstanding part of this is the glowing, orangey bits. It makes a really very stunning contrast. Absolutely beautiful! Wonderful work.

Oh, man...The only three groups of Ing that were torturous were the Warrior Ings, the Guardian Ings, and worse...*ahem* The emperor Ing..*cough*

As much as i love the Ing, i hate having to fight them. I mean seriously, i walk out of a hallway, their theme music comes on, and all i can think of is "Good God, not again". About halfway through the game i don't even fight them anymore, just sort of jump around them.
