All I could think was, "Hello, Clarice.."
I love when insects co-operate like this. Good shot

More like deadly legs
Great macro, very close-up, crisp and clear. Very good use of depth of field. The only things that prevent me from hitting the fav button is the distracting copyright info and the white line between main subject and border. It's particular annoying where it cuts the antennae into pieces. Otherwise it works well and I'd love to see more quality work like this.

Very shallow DOF to exclusively show the face and claws...nicely done.

This thing is creepy. I watched one. They have human like movements of their head. I went up to one and it turned to look at me,creepy.

Well, if ones takes enough photos of insects, you'll find that wherever you are, their eyes will almost always be looking at you and they seldom take they eyes of you. Its quite difficult to catch them NOT looking at you. However that said, I did manage to catch some of this one looking the other way on [link] . Yeah, they are creepy >.<

Hehehe, so sorry.. I used to reply to a lot of comments once but that used to keep me glued to the monitor for hours on end. That usually got a lot of heat from the Mrs.. I hope you understand.. Rest assured I do go through all the devs on my list and I +favs those I like. If there is a question asked, I usually reply.

oh this is wonderful. I love the colors. I had no idea that their eyes had a pattern on them... I thought they were just shiny and smooth. I also love the 'expression' if you kwim. It is like it was taken by surprise OR it is studying something very intently... nearly interacting. You asked in one of your journal comments what we're doing here...
I learn so much from the people here that it has had a huge impact on my work. I come here to learn more than anything else.
