Some may recall some time ago I posted a picture taken with my Minolta 7Hi of a cannon firing depicting the breaking of fast for the muslims of my country. Here, we revisit the same event, one year later, this time armed with a better camera and better lens.. and more experienceHope you enjoy this because i dont think I will want to do this again...

OK I accept that the 2 shots following were bracketed but how did you get the first one to go off on time? Are your reactions that fast because if they are, you should try clay pigeon shooting in the Olympics or something!

Canon to shoot a cannon.. ahhahhah.. didnt realise that... heheh
Oh.. I did used to shoot clay pigeons when I was younger (16-18) in Miri with my uncle at the Sarawak Shooters Association.. but alas, we're not allowed to indulge in such sports here...
And for the bracketing.. yeah.. its about timing and knowing what to look for in the gestures of the people firing the cannon...

Very cool shot! The explosion looks amazing, with all those little particles flying out.
