He awoke slowly. Sitting up, his back felt a little stiff. Did I fall asleep in the park? Taking in his surroundings, he definitely fell asleep, but not in the park. There were way too many trees for it to have been close to home. Somehow, he was now in a forest. There was a light mist in the air barely obscuring his vision.
While one part of him wanted to freak out, the other knew it wouldn’t do him any good to panic, so instead decided to walk about and get a feel for his new surroundings.

Here is the first of what will be a small series of pictures I commissioned to bring a little more light, life, and color to the world of Advent From Elsewhere. Some of them will come straight from the pages, others are just general life of the characters involved. All of it because I wanted to see it made somewhat more real, support an artist out there, and thought retail therapy was a good way to pass time...
