Finally I got the urge to paint again, but only slightly... So I decided to redo an old picture to get back into things. It always helps
This is "Fire Soul", or a redone version of it. Fire soul was a really horrible picture and I can't really imagine how I possibly could have been satisfied with it...
It was worse than the rest of my "art" at that time anyway. This version isn't a polished, finished piece, it was never meant to be that. A comparison of the old and new will be uploaded to my scraps, if anyone's interested...

So here's a challenge to you guys - find a really old picture of yours (or not so old) and redo it to see how much you have improved. You might not think you have, but when you finish you will see that that's not the case

I liked this one because of what it conveys. It may not be a finished piece, but there's something very real about it that let's you look at her face and look into her eyes and see a person, not just a painting. You also get the feeling that she's looking back at you, and considering, considering what I don't know...
