And the final is not so much a redo, but a picture of the two kits representing my old hand painted style (Z'Gok) versus my new airbrushed and waterslide decal style (Z'Gok Commander Type aka Char's Z'Gok). I did a review again, so I did a new picture and figured since I lumped both models in the same review, it was only appropriate to have a picture of both. Well, there they are. I think the Z'Gok was my best hand painted kit ever. I still love it. I should apply a protective coat just to ensure the paint lasts and also, if the home made decals work out, give it some detailing. Enough ranting.Related content

Well, you could always go nuts on a few kits like I do and I'm sure they'll get better... or drain your bank account and leave you poor on the streets having to turn tricks just to get enough money to pay the electric bill to run the compressor long enough to apply one more layer of paint after you sell half your major organs on the black market at discounted prices just because the blood bank wouldn't take that five gallons of blood you took from those random people at that carnival just because it's unsanitary to collect blood with a funnel and a baseball bat... I forgot what point I was making, but I'm sure it was important.

I reaaly like the effect on the red one....How do they call....it's whatering or something like that....Anyway, I think this technic is great. Nice work!

The red one is airbrush while the blue is hand painted. I only submitted this figuring it was a larger version to the kit review I submitted and it gave a chance for anyone curious about my change to airbrushing how the two compare. Odds are the effect on the red one is mostly just an optical illusion. I just clear coated it and dullcoated after the decals versus nothing on the blue. Only a few months apart, build time, and a huge jump in how they look.
