His eyes are really mysterious, makes me want to know more about the character. Really awesome work! The tree bark caught my eye too.

Yeah they totally work! I really dig the fact they look as if they're supposed to be glowing, but don't effect the surrounding skin. Reminds me of lights sunken beneath murky water.
